Love at First Sight

Flamingo’s love a lily pond. This one in particular. I think I stood in front of this trilogy of paintings for an hour. Just staring at their sheer beauty and magnificence. Never have I loved a lily pond more. And I doubt I ever will. It truly was love at first sight.

I heart New York

A few of my friends & family have been lucky enough to find themselves in New York over the last couple of days... jealous!

The architecture, the people, it's endless energy, the lights, the shops and the street & high art. I heart it all.

Trusting the Powers-That-Be.

 Not a lot is going right today, so I am going to trust in the 'Powers That Be' that everything is going to be AMAZING, soon. Good.

Celebrating another year

It's my birthday tomorrow, and to celebrate I'm having a little picnic at The Roundhouse. Views of Camps Bay, Pimms & Lemonade, strawberry panacotta,  friends & family (and presents).

Ff is for Flamingo

So today I begin my blog... it's name is inspired by a nickname 'My Person' gave me at varsity (she was less fortunate with 'Moose' bestowed to her), and stems from hours of economics studying (intuitively), my long limbs, and a tendency I have to stand on one leg...apparently. So here is to all things interesting, inspiring or amusing... even if just to me (and in that case, probably to Moose too).
