Off to deepest darkest Africa (okay, so maybe just to Botswana, but I am comparing it to Cape Town) this weekend for a week of blissful nothingness. Quality time with The Folks, mum's cooking, dads G&T’s, morning tea in bed, my book, E! Entertainment, the Royal Wedding, and maybe a few Easter eggs.
Sister Middlest has just returned to the States after a brief visit to the Mother City last week. We had a fun day of styling with our fabulous Dress Sense cousin on Saturday...things have (thankfully) changed somewhat since these pics were taken. Although my sunnies and Eldest's parka are still hot.
Flamingo’s love a lily pond. This one in particular. I think I stood in front of this trilogy of paintings for an hour. Just staring at their sheer beauty and magnificence. Never have I loved a lily pond more. And I doubt I ever will. It truly was love at first sight.
It's my birthday tomorrow, and to celebrate I'm having a little picnic at The Roundhouse. Views of Camps Bay, Pimms & Lemonade, strawberry panacotta, friends & family (and presents).
So today I begin my blog... it's name is inspired by a nickname 'My Person' gave me at varsity (she was less fortunate with 'Moose' bestowed to her), and stems from hours of economics studying (intuitively), my long limbs, and a tendency I have to stand on one leg...apparently. So here is to all things interesting, inspiring or amusing... even if just to me (and in that case, probably to Moose too).
